OUR STORY

We started out 26 years ago making a few crafts with Shelly's parents, which grew into much more than just a hobby. We loved the creative process and the satisfaction of seeing our handmade items become cherished possessions for others. We decided to take our creations to the next level and started doing the craft show circuit off and on for about 24 years. It was hard work, but we loved meeting people and sharing our passion with others.

Then, one day, the opportunity of a lifetime presented itself. Sweetwater Market at the Mill was up for sale, and it had been Shelly's lifelong dream to own a business like that. We jumped at the chance and took over on February 15, 2021. It was a bit daunting at first, but we were excited to see where this new adventure would take us.

From the moment we took over, we hit the ground running. We grew from approximately 30 small businesses/vendors into two buildings, and we were constantly looking for new and exciting products to offer our customers. Our hard work paid off when we opened a third building, Market on Main, on November 1, 2023. It was a proud moment for us.

After selling Sweetwater Market at the Mill, we kept Market on Main at 511 N. Main St., Sweetwater, TN. Our primary goal with Market on Main had been to create and curate a one-stop shopping experience that is both affordable and enchanting. And we have been thrilled to work with our amazing vendor family to give you a memorable experience that is one of exciting discovery.

The most recent step in our journey has been to capture the essence of this enterprise with a name that expresses both what is important to us, and which fully represents the kinds of delights you'll find here. We are proud to rename our store: Noble Curiosities.
